Dogtown Music Co. at San Beda - Mendiola: 1/28/12

Went to San Beda to watch and support some CSB bands (Dog Town Music Co.)

For our VIDPROD3 Finals we were tasked to make a music video for an artist and we chose Jensen Gomez. Since he had a gig at Beda last night, we took the opportunity of shooting some BTS and the actual performance that’s soon to part of the music video. It was great hearing these Talented Artists for the first time (Jensen Gomez, Sleep Is The Enemy, Archievals, Lady Ransom) and it was an epic experience for me! 

I wasn’t able to capture everyone because our group(Mac, Lyle and I) was too busy shooting videos. Here are some snapshots from last nights gig:

After the gig,  My friends and I went to Tomas Morato for our late dinner. On our way there Andie and I opened the sun roof of Mig’s Pajero and we started shouting outside along Quezon Avenue (Crazy!). We ate at Omakase then Banapple for dessert. 

Had fun listening to the bands of Dogtown Music, shooting with our group(Lyle, Nico and Mac) and especially that spontaneous Dinner-Roadtrip-Ish with friends (Andie, Migs and again Mac). Thank You!!!

JAMES JEAN back in Manila

January 5, 2012 James Jean went to our school DLS-CSB (SDA) to talk about his Art.

I bought one of his books REBUS and its filled with his paintings and illustration from 2001-2011. One of my favorites is the one he did for Prada Spring/Summer 2008. He created a wallpaper  for a fashion show in Milan. Here are some of his illustrations:

After the Art-Talk there was a book signing so I lined up and asked him to doodle something on the book. I also have a photo with him! Thanks to my friend Galo for the film!
